Anidugbe Oluwatobiloba Daniel popularly known as Kiss Daniel, is a Nigerian recording artist, performer and entertainer, who became popular for his chart-topping single “Woju“. He was born on May 1, 1988, and is currently signed to G-Worldwide Entertainment.

Early life

As at the time of his birth, Kiss Daniel was named Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe. He is a native of Abeokuta North local government area of Ogun state, Nigeria.


Kiss Daniel studied Water Resources Management and Agrometeorology (Water Engineering) at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, and graduated in the year 2013.

Music Career

While in university, Kiss Daniel took a decision to pursue career in music, and at the same time carry on with his studies. He however, manifested an interest in music from an early age, and was encouraged by his father. He started as a professional musician in the year 2013 after he graduated from the University, when he met G-Worldwide Entertainment CEO, Emperor Geezy  . After his contract with G-Worldwide entertainment, he came-up with his first official single “Shoye” , produced by Beatburx on May 1, 2014, together with a music video that was directed by MEX. Daniel’s second single “Woju” was produced by DJ Coublon on September 1, 2014. The music video of Woju was directed by Adasa Cookey, and was shot in Lagos, Nigeria. The song which stayed eleven weeks on the MTV Base Official Naija Top Ten, maintained number one spot position for six weeks.

Kiss Daniel later recorded and released a remix of “Woju” where he featured Tiwa Savage and Davido. “Woju” and its remix both peaked at Number 1 and Number 2 positions respectively on the MTV Base Official Naija Top 10. This became record breaking, as that was the first time that an original song and its remix would peak at the first and second positions on the chart. Later, a cover of the song which was performed by 2face Idibia appeared online.
Kiss Daniel later also released the third follow up single “Laye” in May 2015, a day that coincided with his birthday. The release was done along with a video that was shot in different locations two weeks later, at different locations in Eastern part of Africa. The video was directed by AJE FILMS.

Personal life

Kiss Daniel revealed that his music was influenced by the likes of Danfo Drivers, Zulezu, Oritse Femi, 2face Idibia, 9ice, W4, Wande Coal, Owl City and Ed Sheeran as musical influences. His father died on May 9, 2015.
