As expected, Nigerian rapper and YBNL leader, Olamide is planning to drop his 6th studio album in six years.
The yet-to-be-titled album will be dropped before the year runs out as he looks to continue his annual streak.
However, Olamide has promised to make his 6th studio album 100% hip-hop. He promises to deviate from making music of any other genre besides hip-hop. The rapper cum singer has been under backlash for venturing into singing and not keeping it real with hip-hop.O
In his words, ‘We don’t stop the best of me. It’ll be a hip hop album this time, no experimenting, just rap. I’m doing this for the culture and hardcore fans.’
Olamide has released a studio album every year since his debut in 2011 when he dropped Rapsodi.
His other albums include YBNL (2012),Baddest Guy Ever Liveth (2013), Street OT(2014), and Eyan Mayweather (2015).
